1911s, Old and New

It’s amazing how far these guns have come. Top is an early WWII example of an Ithaca 1911 which ended up in Germany, when the gentleman who was carrying it was shot down. It made it all the way back to the States, and is now here on the internet in all it’s awesomeness. Bottom is the Wilson Combat Protector Professional, looking much more visually interesting after a very full weekend of shooting at Rob Pincus‘ CFS class
